It depends...


The answer depends on the value of n. If the value of n is any whole number which is more than 5, n^2
would be more than 5n as it would be from 6n onwards. Lets say if n is four, it would be less as the result would be 4n which less than 5n and if n equal  to 5 the results would be the same as it would be 5n. If n is a negative number, it n times n would be more as negative times negative would be positive and positive times negative would be negative. As five is a positive number five times negative number would be negative number which is less than a positive number.
