ReplyDeleteA) It is a joy doing Math itself! :D

ReplyDeleteB) Careless mistakes. I will try to be more careful next time.

(a):The joys were to complete a tough challenge, knowing that you are smart enough to solve such a hard question.

ReplyDelete(b):THe challenges were to solve a difficult question that twists your mind and confuses you.I think I can overcome these challenges by trying to think out of the box and learning different methods to solve different problems.

(a) Being able to solve questions that other people in the class could not solve.

ReplyDelete(b) There are some questions that I cannot solve until I needed to ask my family for help.

Joy- Getting almost full marks.(Cause i am not good at maths. So i don't even know how I got such good results.)

ReplyDeleteChallenges- careless mistakes and doing difficult sums.

Oh ya, i will be do more sums. (???)

DeleteThe joy of solving a hard maths question by yourself or finally understanding how to solve it after the teacher has explained it to you countless times. The challenge of not understanding what the teacher is talking about when everyone else gets it.By asking until I get it and am able to solve it without help

ReplyDelete(a) Understanding math concepts.

ReplyDelete(b) Not understanding math concepts.

a) the joy and success is when I solved a hard question on my own.

ReplyDeleteb) the challenges i face is on the topic of IQ long questions that costs me 4 or 5 marks. With Mr Johari's help, i am sure i can overcome this challenge.

:)

(a) Being able to solve questions that other people in the class could not solve.

ReplyDelete(b) There are some questions that I cannot solve until I needed to ask my family for help.

being the only one in my school to score full marks. yeah!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeletealso i got 2nd last place for math olympiad. YEAH! NOT LAST !!!

B) Mainly i have a problem with really hard 5 marks kinda questions. but other than that i'm fine. yay 6th!!!!!!

The success/joys i experienced was when i solved tough questions and there was a period at the beginning of P6 when my math was really bad but suddenly i improved drastically and i felt really happy .

ReplyDeleteChallenges i have had includes Questions that require you to think out of the box and questions which require alot of visualisation .

I hope to improve my visualisation skills and will do more of these kind of problems . I also hope that i will not have any problems with algebra.

(A) Getting A* for Maths in PSLE. Learning new things

ReplyDelete(B) Not understanding harder math topics

I used to not be able to understand the more challenging questions, but with the help of my teachers and continuous practice I managed an A* for PSLE.

ReplyDeleteI am quite weak in algebra and sometimes have trouble doing them.

a) The joy of solving a tough problem sum by myself after trying for so long.

ReplyDeleteb) A challenge I face is not knowing the math concept of a certain type of question.

I think I can practise more problem sums to give myself a greater exposure to maths.

the joy is being able to solve a really difficult question after a long time of thinking and getting the correct answer! :D

ReplyDeleteChallenges: I have trouble visualising the concept and might take a long time to understand.

Overcome: Spend more time revising maths to improve my results.

A.When i was p5, i barely got an A but for prelims, i got an A* which is quite an improvement.

ReplyDeleteB.I have trouble with questions that require you to visualize.

1. I like the feeling of joy I get when I finally figure out how to solve a mathematics problem and realising it's correct.

ReplyDelete2. I dislike questions where it requires you to visualize because I'm not that good at it.

a) The joy when I solve a really difficult problem, no matter how long I took, because I still solved it!

ReplyDeleteb) When I make really careless mistakes despite reminding myself many times not to make those mistakes. I will try to be REALLY careful this year. :)

a)I am usually the first to finish!(Joking) Actually during CA 1 when I was P5 I failed my Maths but I got A* for PSLE. Yay!

ReplyDeleteb)I do not know how to solve some word problems and sometimes get tricked by the tricky questions when it is really easy when I am not confused and understand the question properly.

By the way I love word problems

Delete(a) the success and joys that you have experienced in learning Mathematics;

ReplyDelete- The thing I love about Math is that I have great relief when I solved a hard Math problem.

(b) the challenges you have experienced with the subject; and how you think you could overcome these challenges this year?

- I have always been weak in Algebra as I do not understand some of the concepts of it. I think if Mr Johari and I collaborate and we both do our part as teachers and students, I can improve in Math overall.

(a)The joy of solving a tricky question by myself.

ReplyDelete(b)I am prone to make careless mistakes.I think if I can cooperate with Mr Johari, we can find a way to solve this problem.
