  6. (a):The joys were to complete a tough challenge, knowing that you are smart enough to solve such a hard question.

    (b):THe challenges were to solve a difficult question that twists your mind and confuses you.I think I can overcome these challenges by trying to think out of the box and learning different methods to solve different problems.

The joy of solving a hard maths question by yourself or finally understanding how to solve it after the teacher has explained it to you countless times.The challenge of not understanding what the teacher is talking about when everyone else gets it.By asking until I get it and am able to solve it without help

  14. The success/joys i experienced was when i solved tough questions and there was a period at the beginning of P6 when my math was really bad but suddenly i improved drastically and i felt really happy .

    Challenges i have had includes Questions that require you to think out of the box and questions which require alot of visualisation .
    I hope to improve my visualisation skills and will do more of these kind of problems . I also hope that i will not have any problems with algebra.

  16. I used to not be able to understand the more challenging questions, but with the help of my teachers and continuous practice I managed an A* for PSLE.
    I am quite weak in algebra and sometimes have trouble doing them.

  17. a) The joy of solving a tough problem sum by myself after trying for so long.
    b) A challenge I face is not knowing the math concept of a certain type of question.
    I think I can practise more problem sums to give myself a greater exposure to maths.

    Challenges: I have trouble visualising the concept and might take a long time to understand.

  23. (a) the success and joys that you have experienced in learning Mathematics;
    - The thing I love about Math is that I have great relief when I solved a hard Math problem.

    (b) the challenges you have experienced with the subject; and how you think you could overcome these challenges this year?
    - I have always been weak in Algebra as I do not understand some of the concepts of it. I think if Mr Johari and I collaborate and we both do our part as teachers and students, I can improve in Math overall.
